Kohoku-type pottery is also known as Ebetsu-type pottery. The Ebetsubuto Site from the Post-Jomon period has yielded a variety of artifacts, including deep pot-type pottery; a wooden plate and other containers; an antler hairpin, amber beads and other ornaments; fishing tools; and stone knives used to butcher prey, process wood and so forth.
