The peridotites that emerged from the deep underground due to global-scale, dynamic, crustal variations formed Mt. Apoi. In addition to these crustal variations, specific flora and fauna such as Hidakaso and Apoi Maimai (snail) bred by special soil and weather conditions and geographical environments, as well as the history and culture of Samani Town that once flourished as a trade hub will surely fascinate visitors to this geopark.
