Imomochi is made by mashing boiled potatoes, kneading it together with a little starch, forming it into a stick shape and slicing it into pieces. It is then boiled or fried in a frying pan, dipped in soy sauce and eaten while it is still hot. It is also delicious with sugar or toasted soybean flour sprinkled on it.
