2022年度『第７回北のまんが大賞』入賞作品発表
道では、北海道の魅力発信と次代を担う漫画家・イラストレータの育成支援を目的に、漫画・イラストの公募コンテスト「北のまんが大賞」を実施しています。
7回目となる今回は、北海道を素材としたまんが作品を募集するほか、「アドベンチャートラベル -自然体験 in 北海道-」をテーマとしたイラスト作品を募集しました。
いがらしゆみこ先生をはじめとする漫画家の方々や、北海道を代表するイラストレータの佐藤正人先生などによる選考の結果、次のとおり入賞作品が決定しました。

北海道知事賞
『ごはんカフェきつねキッチンへようこそ！』 ちあき（札幌市）
“Welcome to the meal café, Fox Kitchen” Chiaki (Sapporo City)
～あらすじと総評～
北海道のとあるお店「ごはんカフェ きつねキッチン」の店主「ココ」の正体は人間に化けたキタキツネだった！その昔、助けてくれた人間の男の子への恩返しを目標に、エゾタヌキの「キキ」と一緒にカフェの経営に大奮闘！！
魅力的なキャラクター、テンポのいい会話、まとまりのあるストーリー構成が審査員から好評でした。
There is a meal café named Fox Kitchen in Hokkaido. Koko, the owner of Fox Kitchen, is actually an Ezo red fox disguised as a human! Koko is struggling to run the café with Kiki, an Ezo raccoon dog with the goal of repaying a favor to a human boy who helped her a long time ago
The attractive characters, fast-paced dialogue, and cohesive story structure impressed the judges.
札幌市長賞
『ししゃもとコーヒー』 糸魚 白昼（京都府）

～あらすじと総評～
小学３年生の菊男は伯父さんの接待（？）を任される！親友の引っ越しでナーバスな菊男と個性的な伯父さんが帯広を巡り、交流する物語。
絵と画面構成、キャラクター同士のやり取りやストーリー構成が審査員から好評でした。
Kikuo, a third grader boy, is left to entertain (?) his uncle when he is being nervous because his best friend is going to move out of his city. This is a story of Kikuo and his unique uncle traveling in Obihiro while interacting with each other.
The judges gave high marks to the picture and screen composition, character interactions and story structure.

～あらすじと総評～
環境破壊により熱帯に変貌した「旧北海道」を撮影して回る主人公は謎の女性と同行することに。彼女の正体は雪女で、それを追う軍との逃亡劇を繰り広げるSF作品。
高い画力と独特な舞台設定が審査員から好評でした。
The main character, who goes around photographing “Former Hokkaido” that has been transformed into the tropics by environmental destruction, is accompanied by a mysterious woman. The mysterious woman’s true identity is a snow woman, and this science fiction comic is an escape story from the military pursuing her.
The high quality of the drawings and the unique setting were well received by the judges.

北海道在住の咲は、東京にいる友人・絵梨の避暑旅行に付き合うことに。二人の楽しい北海道旅行が始まる！
見やすい絵とかわいいキャラクター、北海道観光の魅力が上手く表現されている点が審査員から好評でした。
Saki lives in Hokkaido, and she is going to accompany her friend in Tokyo, Eri, for her summer retreat in Hokkaido. Their fun Hokkaido trip begins!
The judges liked the easy-to-see pictures, cute characters, and the well expressed tourist attractions in Hokkaido.

～あらすじと総評～
北海道に住むノノと東京に進学するチグサの会話劇。
北海道が嫌いなチグサはノノに北海道の良さを問う。ここにしかないものとは･･･。
独創的な世界観・雰囲気、丁寧な線画による表現、キャラクター同士のやり取りが審査員から好評でした。
This is a conversational drama between Nono and Chigusa. They live in Hokkaido and Chigusa will be going to a school in Tokyo.
Chigusa doesn’t like Hokkaido and asks Nono what’s good about Hokkaido. What is unique here…?
The distinctive world building and atmosphere, careful line drawings and the interactions between characters were favorably received by the judges.

～あらすじと総評～
牧場で暮らす小学五年生の「寺内海」が友達の「くろた」に牛乳をプレゼントするとクラスメイトにからかわれてしまう。思わず逃げ出す海と、それを追うくろた。牛乳がつなぐ二人の物語。
個性的でかわいい絵と魅力的なキャラクターが審査員から好評でした。
Umi Terauchi is a fifth grader girl living on a farm. One day, her classmates made fun of her when she gave milk to her friend “Kurota” as a gift. She ran away in spite of herself, and Kurota followed her. It is a story of the two kids connected by milk.
The unique, cute drawings and attractive characters impressed the judges.

～あらすじと総評～
突然目の前に現れた動く葉っぱを追いかけて行くと、不思議な体験が待っていた。
作品の雰囲気と独特の画風、キャラクターの表情が審査員から好評でした。
A moving leaf suddenly appeared in front of the main character. She followed it and a strange experience awaited her.
The atmosphere of the work, the unique style of drawing, and the characters’ facial expressions won the judges’ acclaim.

～あらすじと総評～
父を亡くした家族が北海道へ移住することに。北海道を通じて心境の変化を描きます。
デジタルを活用した丁寧な作画とストーリーが審査員から好評でした。
A family who lost a father decided to move to Hokkaido. It depicts change-of-heart of them through Hokkaido.
The careful drawing using technology digital technology and the storyline won the judges’ acclaim.

～あらすじと総評～
北海道のとある森で、知名度の低さに悩むエゾリスは、シマエナガとエゾクロテンに相談する。なかよし３匹でユニット結成、ユーチューバー、新ポーズなど知名度向上のために試行錯誤します。
まとまりのあるストーリー、かわいいキャラクター、動物達のボケツッコミの会話が審査員から好評でした。
In a forest in Hokkaido, an Ezo squirrel is suffering from lack of recognition and consulted with a long-tailed tit and an ezo sable. Then, these three good friends formed a unit, became YouTubers and created a new pose to improve their visibility.
The cohesive story, cute characters and their funny conversations were well received by the judges.

～あらすじと総評～
オホーツクを旅する３人組が案内されたのは、屈斜路湖の中島にあるという「レイクサイドホテル」。ここで不思議な体験をすることに･･･。
独特な絵柄と不思議で優しいお話が審査員から好評でした。
A group of three traveling in Okhotsk Area was guided to “Lakeside Hotel”, located in Nakajima (central island) of Lake Kussharo. Here they had a strange experience…
The judges liked the unique design of the picture and the mysterious and gentle story.
